Hatch Cover for Ice-Strengthened Container Ship

2014-12-24

Recently, SMS has won the orders to supply Hatch Cover for 1,900 TEU ice-strengthened container ships from HHIC.

These vessels require a strong ICE CLASS design and enable them to operate in the arctic ice-covered waters.

SMS will apply the optimized design to the Hatch Cover to function in the severe cold climate and strengthen our engineering ability in special purpose ships through this project.
